Dinosaur Week

This has been Dinosaur week. We have talked about Dinosaurs, played with Dinosaurs and used them to count. We cut and colored and glued and worked on writing our names. Half of the children can now spell their names to me while I write them on the white board. Both Alysa and Libby will be getting a certificate on Monday for spelling their names. Kyle, Jaydn, Libby and Alysa are now working on writing their names by themselves. Rebekah, Arika and Natalya are getting closer to spelling their names by themselves as well. Keep working with them at home when ever possible. Everyone can have their child spell their name when they ask for a snack, a drink, when they are getting ready for bed, etc. This may not seem like a lot but it really helps them learn faster. I am including some pictures from today. We dug for Dinosaurs. Each child had a chance to dig through the dinosaur desert and find a dinosaur. They really had a lot of fun and followed directions very well.

REMEMBER MONDAY is the next day of class.
Thanks for letting me teach your children, I truly enjoy each of them.
